  5. `term' v4.6a update
  6. ===================
  7. This patch addresses a number of problems in `term' v4.6, namely:
  8.  
  9. - The hotkey panel did not accept control key codes.
  10.  
  11. - The code that sets up the quick dial menu did not allocate enough
  12.   room for the complete menu strip and thus could trash innocent
  13.   memory. This was most likely the reason for the program termination
  14.   crashes.
  15.  
  16. - Added a tool type to suppress Workbench search path cloning.
  17.   This might fix some deadly crashes connected with the program
  18.   startup. The tooltype is "NOPATHFIX". The path cloning now
  19.   only kicks in if the process `term' was launched from is in
  20.   fact Workbench.

  38. How to apply this patch?
  39. ========================
  40. Just use the supplied installer script, it will do all the messy work
  41. for you which involves deciding with program type you are using (either
  42. the 030 version or the generic version), making a backup copy of the
  43. old program and last but not least applying the patch.
